Acme Barricades is hiring a Maintenance of Traffic laborer in Fort Myers, FL. You will perform traffic control setup, site coordination, and equipment transport to ensure safe flow in work zones. Maintain records and follow MOT guidelines across projects.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in MOT or related fields, with a High School Diploma/GED and strong communication. A valid MOT certification is preferred, with potential for overtime and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in Maintenance of Traffic or related field.
• High School Diploma or GED required; clear communication skills.
• MOT certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain traffic control devices and signs in work zones.
• Coordinate MOT activities with on-site client representatives.
• Load/unload equipment from company trucks and deliver to sites.
• Oversee detours and lane closures as required by MOT guidelines.
• Complete daily paperwork and reports for supervision.
• If licensed, operate company vehicle and maintain MVR standards.
