Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems is seeking a Traffic Control Technician in Denver, CO to set up and take down lane closures, ensuring safe work zones on state highways and other roadways. You will transport materials, redirect traffic for crews, and work independently or with a crew while following contractor directions.

Required are 1–3 years in traffic control, a valid driver's license, ability to pass background and drug tests, and the ability to travel statewide, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License is required and must pass background check including motor vehicle records.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and traffic control plans.
• Basic understanding of federal and state motor carrier safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks to transport materials and equipment to job sites.
• Drive MOT and TMA vehicles to and from projects.
• Install and remove traffic control devices (cones, signs, delineators).
• Monitor and maintain safety in the work zone.
• Perform shop maintenance on equipment as needed.
