Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems is seeking a Traffic Control Technician II in Las Vegas to set up and supervise lane closures, ensuring safe work zones on state highways. Ideal candidates will have 1–3 years of traffic control experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass background and drug tests. Willingness to travel and work odd hours is required.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License.
• 1-3 years of experience and 2,000 in field hours in traffic control.
• Must be able to pass a background check, including motor vehicle records check.
• Must successfully pass a drug test and meet federal DOT requirements.
• Wear proper safety equipment (boots, hard hat, safety glasses, vest).

Responsibilities

• Set up and take down lane closures and ensure safety of traffic control projects.
• Perform lane closures on state highways and other roadways.
• Redirect traffic for workers or survey crews.
• Assemble, deliver, and pick up safety products from job sites per contractor directions.
