The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of experience with 2,000 field hours, a valid Driver’s license, ability to pass background and drug tests, and DOT requirements, and is willing to travel statewide including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License required and clean driving record.
• 1–3 years of experience with 2,000 field hours in traffic control.
• Must pass background check and motor vehicle records check.
• Must pass drug test and meet federal DOT requirements.
• Wear safety equipment (boots, hard hat, safety glasses, safety vest).
• Ability to read plans and ensure traffic control plans are implemented.
• Knowledge of state/local roadways and operating delivery/related vehicles.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
• Willingness to travel statewide, with overnight stays.
• Ability to work nights and weekends; rotating on-call schedule.

Responsibilities

• Operate company trucks to transport materials and equipment to job sites.
• Drive MOT and TMA vehicles to projects to protect workers and work zones.
• Set up/ arrange temporary signs, arrow boards, cones, and other safety devices.
• Monitor and maintain proper placement of items in the work zone.
• Perform shop work and basic maintenance on equipment.
• Follow all safety rules and company policies.
