Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems is seeking a Traffic Control Technician II to set up and take down lane closures, ensuring safety on highway and roadway projects. You will travel to job sites, assemble and deliver safety products, and work as part of a crew or independently in various shifts.

The role requires a valid driver's license, 1–3 years of traffic control experience, DOT compliance knowledge, and willingness to travel statewide, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License required.
• 1–3 years of experience and 2,000 field hours in traffic control.
• Be able to pass background and drug tests per DOT.
• Willingness to travel statewide and work nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate company trucks to transport materials and equipment to job sites.
• Set up and remove traffic control devices and signs.
• Monitor work zones and ensure safety throughout shifts.
• Deliver, assemble, and pick up safety products at sites per contractor directions.
• Follow all safety rules and company policies.
