Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems is seeking a Traffic Control Technician to set up and take down lane closures and ensure safety on assigned projects. The role includes driving MOT/TMA vehicles, transporting safety products, and following contractor directions to complete tasks efficiently.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of traffic control experience, 2,000 field hours, and must pass background checks and DOT requirements. Safety gear is provided and travel statewide may be required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of traffic control experience.
• 2,000 field hours in traffic control.
• Able to pass background check and drug test per federal DOT requirements.
• Must wear safety equipment and follow safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Operate company trucks to transport materials and equipment to job sites.
• Drive MOT and TMA vehicles to projects and work sites.
• Set up/maintain traffic control devices and signs in work areas.
• Ensure safe and efficient lane closures on state highways and roadways.
• Install, remove, and reset delineators, posts, and supports.
• Follow Contractor directions and company policies; work independently or with a crew.
