Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems is the leading provider of traffic safety products and services in the United States. The Traffic Control Technician will set up and take down lane closures, redirect traffic, and manage safety at job sites.

Responsibilities include operating trucks, driving MOT and TMA vehicles, and installing safety devices, while following all safety rules. The role requires reading plans, adherence to DOT regulations, and willingness to travel statewide with potential overnight

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• 1-3 years traffic control experience with 2000 field hours.
• Must pass background check and DOT requirements.
• Must pass drug test.
• Wear safety gear and follow safety rules.
• Must complete ATSSA TCT intermediate training.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks to transport materials and equipment to job sites.
• Drive MOT and TMA vehicles to protect workers and work zones.
• Place and position traffic signs, cones, boards in work areas.
• Monitor and maintain traffic control devices throughout shifts.
• Install, remove, and repair delineators, signs, and supports.
• Perform shop maintenance on equipment.
• Follow safety rules and company policies.
