Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems is seeking a Traffic Control Technician II to set up and remove lane closures on state highways, ensure safety for workers, and manage traffic flow around active work zones. Responsibilities include operating MOT and TMA vehicles, delivering safety equipment, and maintaining signs and delineators on site.

The role requires 1–3 years of traffic control experience, a valid Driver’s License, and the ability to travel statewide with potential overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License.
• 1–3 years of traffic control experience.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.
• Must meet federal DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up and take down lane closures on state highways and roadways.
• Redirect traffic for workers or survey crews.
• Drive MOT/TMA vehicles to and from projects and transport materials.
• Install/maintain safety devices, signs, cones, and delineators in work zones.
• Coordinate with crew and follow contractor directions.
• Adhere to all safety rules and Company policies.
