Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems in Monroe, LA is hiring a Traffic Control Technician II responsible for setting up and taking down lane closures and ensuring safety on traffic control projects. You will operate MOT and TMA vehicles, place signs, cones, and protect workers according to regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required and background/drug test must be passed.
• 1–3 years of traffic control experience with ~2,000 field hours.
• Must pass DOT background check and drug test.
• ATSSA TCT intermediate training completed.

Responsibilities

• Operate company trucks to transport materials to job sites.
• Drive MOT and TMA vehicles to and from projects and sites.
• Set up traffic cones, signs, and arrow boards in work areas.
• Monitor the work zone and ensure proper equipment placement.
• Perform basic shop work and vehicle maintenance as needed.
• Follow safety rules and company policies.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
