Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and 1–3 years of traffic control experience.
• Must pass background check and motor vehicle records check.
• Must pass a drug test and meet federal DOT requirements.
• Able to read plans and ensure traffic control plans are implemented.
• Willingness to travel statewide, overnight stays, and work nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate company trucks to transport materials and equipment to job sites.
• Drive MOT vehicle to and from projects and on work sites.
• Drive TMA vehicle to protect workers and work zones.
• Place temporary construction signs and position arrow boards/VM boards.
• Set up traffic cones and safety devices and monitor the work zone.
• Load and unload traffic control items; perform shop maintenance.

Skills

Valid Driver’s License

1-3 years of experience

DOT regulations familiarity

Ability to lift 70 pounds

Willingness to travel statewide
