RoadSafe Traffic Systems is seeking a Traffic Control Technician II in Albuquerque, NM to set up and take down lane closures, protect workers, and ensure safe traffic flows across roadways. This role requires DOT compliance, driving responsibilities, and coordination with survey crews.

You will assemble, deliver, and pick up safety products from job sites, follow contractor directions, and operate MOT/TMA vehicles. Travel statewide and occasionally work nights or weekends as needed.

Formación

• 1–3 years of traffic control experience with at least 2,000 field hours.
• Ability to pass a background check including motor vehicle records.
• Ability to pass a drug test and meet federal DOT requirements.
• Willingness to travel statewide, with possible overnight stays.
• Read and understand traffic control plans and site plans.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and take down lane closures on state highways and roads.
• Redirect traffic for workers or survey crews.
• Transport materials and equipment to job sites with company trucks.
• Operate MOT and TMA vehicles to protect workers and work zones.
• Install, move, and remove traffic safety devices and signs.
• Maintain safe work zones and follow company safety rules.
