Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• 2+ years of experience and 4,000 field hours in traffic control.
• Must complete ATSSA TCS intermediate training.
• Background check including MVR and drug testing required.
• Must meet federal DOT requirements and read plans.
• Able to read road signs and ensure plans are implemented.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds and travel statewide.

Responsibilities

• Operate company trucks to transport materials and equipment to job sites.
• Drive MOT and TMA vehicles to and from projects to protect workers.
• Place and set up traffic control devices in work areas.
• Install, maintain and reset signs, cones, and delineators.
• Monitor the work zone and ensure items stay in place.
• Perform shop work and basic equipment maintenance.
• Follow safety rules and company policies; participate in safety meetings.

Skills

2+ years of experience in traffic

4,000 field hours in traffic control

ATSSA TCS intermediate training

Background check (MVR) required

Drug test & DOT compliance

Ability to read plans

Knowledge of state/local roadways

Lift up to 70 pounds

Willingness to travel statewide

Rotating on-call availability
