Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems is seeking a Traffic Control Flagger to direct traffic around construction sites and work zones. You will set up signs, cones and barricades, communicate with motorists, and help maintain safe passage for workers and the public.

The role requires standing for extended periods, working outdoors in various weather conditions, and complying with DOT and company training requirements. Excellent safety focus and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background check and motor vehicle records check.
• DOT requirements must be met and drug test must be passed.
• ATSSA Flagger training and company-sponsored Defensive Driver training are required or completed.

Responsibilities

• Direct traffic around construction sites, road maintenance areas and work zones.
• Set up and take down traffic control devices and signs to protect workers and the public.
• Communicate with motorists using signals and devices to guide them safely.
• Stand and walk for long periods outdoors in varying weather conditions.
