Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems is seeking a Traffic Control Flagger to direct traffic around construction and work zones. You will set up and remove signs, cones, and barricades, guiding motorists with hand signals and paddles while maintaining safety for workers and the public.

The role requiresstanding for long periods outdoors, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to travel statewide. DOT requirements and ATSSA training are essential components of the position.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass background checks.
• Must pass drug test and meet DOT requirements.
• ATSSA Flagger training completed; willing to travel statewide and work nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Set up signs, cones, and other traffic control devices around work areas to divert traffic.
• Effectively manage traffic flow with stop/slow paddles.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with team members using two-way radios.
• Stand and walk for long periods outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Lift, carry, push, pull, and move items up to 50 pounds.
• Drive company vehicles to transport traffic control equipment to job sites.
