Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems is seeking a Traffic Control Flagger to direct traffic around construction sites and work zones. The role requires setup of signs, cones, and barricades, and clear communication with motorists to ensure safety.

You will work outdoors in varied weather, stand for long periods, and potentially travel statewide, including nights and weekends. A valid license and ATSSA Flagger training are expected.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background check, DOT requirements may apply.
• ATSSA Flagger training and Defensive Driver training preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and traffic conditions.
• Strong communication with contractors and teams.

Responsibilities

• Set up and take down traffic control devices at work zones.
• Direct traffic using signs, signals, and stop/slow paddles.
• Maintain radio communication with team members.
• Stand/walk for long periods and lift items up to 50 pounds.
• Travel statewide and work nights/weekends as required.
