Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro is seeking a Traffic Safety Protector to join our field teams at various job sites. No prior experience or degree is required as comprehensive training is provided, and you will set up traffic controls and guide motorists with stop/slow paddles.

Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, be able to lift 40-50 pounds, and work outdoors in all weather. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and clear communication with supervisors, with opportunities for advancement.

Role Overview

• Setting up and removing cones, signs, and barricades for traffic control
• Guiding traffic using stop/slow paddles and monitoring site activity
• Adhering to all safety protocols learned during training
• Communicating effectively with crew and supervisors
• Maintaining vehicles and equipment in a safe, clean condition
• Working outdoors year-round in all weather conditions

The role requires valid driver’s license, the ability to stand, walk, and lift 40-50 pounds, and flexibility to work in traffic and changing weather conditions. Candidates must pass pre-hire screening, including a drug test, and follow safety rules at all times. Respectful interaction with coworkers, clients, and the public is essential.
