Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro is hiring a Traffic Safety Protector to join a field team across multiple job sites. No prior experience or degree is required; comprehensive training and support are provided.

You will set up and take down traffic control devices, guide traffic with stop/slow paddles, and ensure site safety while working outdoors in varying weather, including night or weekend shifts. Opportunities exist for advancement within the team.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required or able to obtain one.
• Ability to work outdoors and lift 40–50 lb safely.
• Reliable and punctual attendance.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Demonstrates safety awareness when around coworkers and the public.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and taking down traffic control devices such as cones, signs, and barricades
• Guiding traffic using stop/slow paddles and monitoring site activity
• Following all safety procedures learned during training
• Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors
• Maintaining vehicles and equipment in a clean and safe condition
• Working outdoors in all weather conditions, with shifts possibly requiring night, weekend, or emergency work
• Standing or walking for extended periods, often 8 to 12 hours

Qualifications Include

• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work outside and lift 40-50 pounds
• Willingness to work in traffic and varying weather conditions
• Reliable and punctual attendance
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening, including drug tests

Compensation And Benefits

• Hourly pay between $17.50 and $18.25, with overtime and pay raises in the first year
