Job summary

Linedata, a global fintech provider, seeks a Senior Electronic Trading Specialist to manage client needs, certify the Linedata OMS, and coordinate FIX connectivity with trading partners. The role involves escalation support and occasional client visits, with weekend availability for maintenance and upgrades.

Based in Boston or New York, this mid-level contributor role requires OMS/EMS experience, strong English communication, and a proactive, collaborative approach to delivering reliable trading

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5+ years in financial services or software client support, preferably OMS/EMS.
• Ambitious, self-driven and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to assess risks and urgency related to deliverables.
• Collaborative, team-driven mindset.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent oral and written English communication.
• Exposure to buy-side trading apps, specifically OMS/EMS.
• IT infrastructure knowledge and Windows OS familiarity.
• Understanding trading/portfolio management implications of decisions.

Responsibilities

• Technical account management of Linedata ETS clients with focus on service delivery and satisfaction.
• Onboard and certify existing and new ETS clients.
• Gather and analyze client requirements; create FIX specs and workflow designs.
• Configure and test FIX connectivity between Linedata systems and client partners.
• Provide second-line support for FIX issues to clients and Helpdesk.
• Collaborate with internal teams to drive new trading features and fixes.
• Perform FIX certifications with requested endpoints and liquidity for partners.
• Contribute to internal projects and training initiatives.
