Job summary

Banco Santander SA is seeking a VP level Trade Floor Support Engineer to provide high-availability support for front-office trading environments. You will work with traders, technology teams, and vendors to diagnose issues and deploy practical technology solutions.

The role requires 9+ years in client technologies and 3+ years in trading floor EUT support, with strong Windows/AD/Exchange/Citrix expertise, scripting skills, and ITIL discipline. A Bachelor’s degree is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and work experience in a technology/finance environment.
Experience supporting trading floor or front-office environments is required.
Strong knowledge of Windows, AD, policy management, and enterprise tooling.

Responsibilities

Provide high-availability support for Front Office trading environments and systems.
Collaborate with traders, technology teams, and vendors to resolve incidents quickly.
Maintain and improve ITIL processes, CMDB data, and runbooks for uptime.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, VMs, and related hardware/software.
Monitor services, communicate status to stakeholders, and coordinate changes.
