Job summary

Global Experience Specialists, Inc. in Hodgkins, IL seeks a Client Services Manager to coordinate tradeshow production and provide on-site supervision at venues. You will lead shows from planning to invoicing and serve as the liaison among clients, exhibitors, facility staff, and vendors.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in the tradeshow, convention, hospitality industry or similar experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate and work collaboratively.
• Capable of running new/modified processes.
• Proficient in multisystem management.
• Ability to foster customer relationships.
• Potential Travel 25-50%.
• General accounting and finance knowledge.
• Must be extremely detail oriented and able to multi-task.
• Understands and works in lateral work streams.
• Requires ability to adapt to multiple settings and shifting responsibilities.
• Must be able to work under pressure.
• Opportunity to work nights, weekends and at showsite.
• Position may require long hours during several months of the year.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shows from planning through collection of invoice.
• Collaborate with clients to gather information and manage expectations.
• Oversee creation, approval and distribution of service kits.
• Work with internal departments to ensure work orders are completed.
• Oversee set-up and tear down of shows.
• Generate show management invoices and follow up until collected.
• Liaise with show management, exhibitors, facility staff, production personnel and vendors.
• Adhere to established budget guidelines and manage forecast and cost control.
• Participate in Show Planning process for assigned shows.
• Manage to provided Key Performance Indicators.
