Job summary

PTR Global seeks an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join on a contingent basis, supporting a regulated trader voice recording environment. The role focuses on platform maintenance, upgrades, vulnerability remediation, and modernization to meet regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with trader voice platforms, regulatory compliance technologies, and cloud/virtualized infrastructure, with hands-on experience in migration, patching, and data-center

Qualifications

2+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience or equivalent through work, consulting, training, military experience, or education.
5+ years of experience with NICE Trader Recording (NTR) or Verba Financial Compliance (VFC).
Experience with Proteus, Continuity Replay, or Vodafone recording integrations.
Proven experience in platform migration or consolidation projects.
Familiarity with on premises to cloud migration of infrastructure or application workloads.
Understanding of build/deploy pipelines, release management, and configuration management tools.
Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, including networking, compute, storage, and data centers.
2+ years of experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper‑V).
Experience with lifecycle management, including patching, maintenance, health checks, and decommissioning.
Understanding of business continuity (BCP) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions.
2+ years of information security experience.

Responsibilities

Perform platform maintenance and lifecycle management.
Execute infrastructure upgrades and modernization efforts.
Remediate vulnerabilities and manage patching processes.
Monitor system health and provide operational support.
Engage in engineering design and implementation activities.
Support migrations and strategic platform initiatives.
Participate in data center closures and platform consolidation efforts.
Assist in transitioning to newer transcription and voice analytics capabilities.
Contribute to cloud migration efforts using virtualized infrastructure and OpenShift platforms.
