Job summary

KPMG LLP's Trade and Customs internship invites you to join a dynamic team for Summer 2027. You will work on import/export matters, research international trade issues, and help deliver client engagements on time and within budget.

You will gain hands-on experience with AI, Alteryx, Power BI and other technologies while receiving formal training and mentoring in a collaborative culture at KPMG.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing the specified degrees/majors.
• Upon completion of this internship, candidates must have additional academic credits to complete before obtaining their degree and/or CPA eligibility requirements.
• Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Coursework or minor in information systems, software engineering, computer science or data and analytics preferred.
• Strong in technical, business acumen, critical thinking and agility skills.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and apply technologies like AI, Alteryx and Power BI and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on import and export matters in various industries.
• Examine U.S. and international import and export trade matters.
• Research, write and review international trade advice.
• Formulate ideas and deliver possible trade savings opportunities.
• Assist in delivering multiple client engagements on time and within budget.
• Support clients with global trade automated solutions implementations.
• Build capabilities in technologies that enable tax professionals for client service delivery like AI, Alteryx and Power BI.
