Job summary

KPMG LLP is seeking an Intern for the Trade and Customs practice in San Francisco to support technology implementations, training and deployment of Global Trade solutions. You will work with cross-functional teams, produce blueprints and design documents, and gain hands-on experience with AI, Alteryx, Power BI and Microsoft Office.

This internship requires college enrollment, a solid GPA, and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing degrees in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Computer Science and Engineering or related fields.
• CPA eligibility requirements after internship

Responsibilities

• Support Global Trade Technology solutions implementation, including design, build, training, testing and deployment stages of each project
• Write business blueprint and functional design specification documents, perform system configuration, testing and provide end user training to prepare the business users for successfully using Global Trade solutions in their daily trade and compliance activities
• Work with clients' business resources to introduce innovative changes to how they conduct their business, encompassing changes to people, processes and technology
• Collaborate with clients technology resources in the technical deployment of the Global Trade application, to include an emphasis on knowledge transfer so the client can become self-sufficient
• Build capabilities in key technologies that enable tax professionals for client service delivery such as artificial intelligence (AI), Alteryx, Power BI, and more
