Job summary

KPMG LLP is seeking an Associate for its Trade and Customs practice in the United States. You will advise clients on import/export matters, examine global trade issues, and deliver data-driven insights using AI, Alteryx, and Power BI.

You will support multiple client engagements, research trade policy, and contribute to innovative tax solutions while collaborating with a diverse team. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong technical and analytical capabilities with business sense.
• Experience applying data and analytics to trade issues is a plus.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies used in tax processes.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on import/export matters across industries.
• Examine U.S. and international trade issues and regulations.
• Research, write and review international trade guidance.
• Identify trade savings opportunities for clients.
• Manage multiple engagements, communicating with clients to manage expectations.
• Support global trade automation implementations for clients.
• Develop capabilities with AI, Alteryx, Power BI, and MS Office in delivery.
