Job summary

KPMG LLP is seeking an Intern to join our Trade and Customs practice for Summer 2027. You will support Global Trade Technology implementations, write design documents, train end users and help drive technology-enabled business improvements.

You will collaborate with client teams to introduce changes across processes and technology. The role emphasizes building capabilities in AI, Alteryx and Power BI, with opportunities for hands-on experience in a leading tax advisory network.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing the listed degrees/majors
• Upon completion, must have additional academic credits to complete before degree and CPA eligibility
• Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above
• Coursework in information systems, software engineering, computer science or data analytics preferred
• Strong technical, business acumen and leadership abilities; collaborative demeanor in a dynamic environment
• Must reside within commutable distance to the office and be able to travel to client sites as needed
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

• Support Global Trade Technology solutions implementation across design, build, training, testing and deployment
• Create business blueprints and functional design specs; configure systems and provide end-user training
• Collaborate with client resources to drive changes to people, processes and technology
• Assist in knowledge transfer to enable client self-sufficiency in Global Trade applications
• Develop capabilities in AI, Alteryx and Power BI to enhance tax processes and insights
