Job summary

KPMG LLP seeks an Intern for its Trade and Customs practice. You will advise clients on import/export matters, research international trade topics, and support the delivery of multiple engagements while enhancing client satisfaction.

You will work with AI, Alteryx, Power BI, and MS Office to drive insights and deliverables. Applicants must be enrolled in a college program, pursuing a JD in International Law or equivalent, with CPA eligibility considerations.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an accredited college or university program in International Law or equivalent.
• Completion of additional academic credits required for CPA eligibility after internship.
• GPA 3.0+ preferred.
• Coursework in information systems, software engineering, CS, or data analytics preferred.
• Strong technical, business acumen, critical thinking and collaborative leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on import/export matters across industries.
• Examine U.S. and international trade issues.
• Research, write and review international trade advice.
• Identify and deliver potential trade savings opportunities.
• Assist in delivering multiple client engagements on time and within budget.
• Support implementation of global trade automated solutions.
• Build capabilities in AI, Alteryx, Power BI and related technologies.
