Job summary

PrideGlobal is partnering with a pharmaceutical company to identify a Trade Compliance Specialist for a REMOTE opportunity. You will manage import/export across borders, ensuring compliance with U.S. Customs, FDA, and related regulations.

This 6-month contract role requires 1–3 years in trade compliance, knowledge of HTS classifications, and experience with ERP systems like Oracle or SAP. Candidates must work U.S. Eastern Time hours and coordinate with European teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of import/export and trade compliance experience.
• Knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations, CBP Form 7501, HTS classification, and documentation requirements.
• Ability to work U.S. Eastern Time hours and coordinate with European teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage import/export customs clearance for cross-border shipments using Oracle Global Trade Management.
• Validate shipment documentation and provide clearance instructions to brokers in compliance with U.S. Customs, FDA, and other government regulations.
• Coordinate shipment processing with internal teams, brokers, and international business partners.
• Maintain accurate import/export records and electronic documentation according to retention requirements.
• Support the development and maintenance of SOPs for import/export operations.
• Support HTS classification, customs compliance, and customs valuation activities, including freight and assists.

Russell Tobin is partnering with a pharmaceutical company to identify a Trade Compliance Specialist for an opportunity with REMOTE work.

Pay rate range: $30-$35/hr. (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage import/export customs clearance for cross-border shipments using Oracle Global Trade Management.
• Validate shipment documentation and provide clearance instructions to brokers in compliance with U.S. Customs, FDA, and other government regulations.
• Coordinate shipment processing with internal teams, brokers, and international business partners.
• Maintain accurate import/export records and electronic documentation according to retention requirements.
• Support the development and maintenance of SOPs for import/export operations.
• Support HTS classification, customs compliance, and customs valuation activities, including freight and assists.

Required Qualifications

Preferred

• Experience with U.S. and European trade operations, particularly UK and Switzerland.

• Experience in a regulated industry such as Pharma, Food, or Medical Devices.
• Experience auditing customs valuation elements, including freight and assists.
