Job summary

Pride Global, via Russell Tobin, seeks a Repair Technician near San Antonio, TX to service medical devices.

Responsibilities include testing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining equipment, with emphasis on cable assemblies, boards, and firmware uploads. Onsite position with standard business hours.

Requirements include 1+ year experience and an Associate degree in a related field. Competitive hourly pay range applies.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in electrical assembly, soldering, troubleshooting, repair, or related electrical/mechanical/pneumatic work in a manufacturing or technical environment.
• Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related electrical field.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, BOMs, test procedures, and work instructions.
• Experience using tools and equipment for electrical/electronic repair.
• Experience monitoring quality and correcting deficiencies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet productivity and quality standards.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Test, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, upgrade, and maintain medical devices and equipment.
• Repair and replace cable assemblies, wire harnesses, ribbon cables, cord sets, circuit boards, and other components.
• Support software and firmware uploads/downloads and download event logs from devices.
• Reassemble repaired units and perform quality control testing before releasing equipment to customers.
• Process devices, parts, and components according to quality procedures and work instructions.
• Provide technical support to customers, sales teams, third-party maintenance providers, and engineering teams.
• Assist with product testing, inspections, research and development activities, and technical training.
• Accurately document parts used on work orders and support inventory management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Monitor tools and calibrated equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Follow all safety requirements and quality procedures.

Russell Tobin is partnering with a medical device and healthcare organization to identify a Repair Technician for an opportunity near San Antonio, TX

Responsibilities

• Perform testing, troubleshooting, diagnosis, repair, upgrades, retrofits, and preventive maintenance on medical devices and equipment.
• Repair and replace cable assemblies, wire harnesses, ribbon cables, cord sets, circuit boards, and other applicable components.
• Support software and firmware uploads/downloads and download event logs from devices.
• Reassemble repaired units and perform quality control testing before releasing equipment to customers.
• Process devices, parts, and components according to established quality procedures and work instructions.
