Peraton is seeking a Trade Compliance Manager to join our legal department's Trade Compliance team in the DMV area on a hybrid schedule. The role reports on government contractor programs across intelligence, space, cyber, defense, and civilian markets and requires strong ITAR/EAR/OFAC knowledge.

You will oversee licensing processes, serve as Empowered Official, ensure licenses and exemptions are properly applied, and maintain export/import records in line with U.S. regulations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of trade compliance experience with a government contractor.
• Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills managing multiple deadlines.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsabilités

• Research, analyze, interpret and advise on ITAR/EAR/OFAC compliance.
• Prepare and submit export licenses, Technical Assistance Agreements, Commerce licenses, and validate ITAR/EAR exemptions.
• Eligible to serve as an Empowered Official as defined by the ITAR.
• Review international shipments (exports and imports), foreign travel and visitors for license compliance.
• Review proposals, contracts and purchase orders and participate in programmatic discussions.
• Maintain export/import records per U.S. regulatory requirements and company policy.
• Other trade compliance-related duties as assigned.
