Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Trade Compliance Analyst to join the Legal Department's Trade Compliance team. The role supports U.S. government agency work in intelligence, space, cyber, defense, and civilian markets.

It is primarily remote with occasional on-site work required; candidates must reside in specified locations. Responsibilities include applying ITAR, EAR, and FTR to ensure regulatory compliance, preparing export authorizations, reviewing shipments, and conducting training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of related experience or Master’s Degree with 3+ years.

Responsibilities

• Apply ITAR, EAR, and FTR knowledge to advise departments on compliance with U.S. trade laws.
• Prepare, submit, and administer export authorization requests (TAAs, licenses, ITAR/EAR exemptions).
• Review international shipments, foreign travel, and visitor requests for licensing compliance.
• Review proposals, contracts, and purchase orders for programmatic alignment.
• Conduct export compliance training for employees and teams.
• Maintain export/import records per U.S. regulatory requirements.
