Job summary

J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. is seeking a Tractor Technician to perform basic maintenance and repair on our tractors and equipment under close supervision.

This is a full-time position with outdoor work and shifts that may include nights and weekends, in addition to overtime. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, replacing parts, following safety procedures, and completing work orders to meet company specifications.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age with 1 year of experience or equivalent training.
• Tools supplied by employee; toolbox purchase program available in most locations.
• Must be able to work outdoors and on varying shifts including nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate preventative maintenance and basic repairs on tractors.
• Work independently and follow shop safety procedures.
• Maintain professional communication with JB Hunt personnel and customers.
• Complete work orders and adhere to standard repair times and warranties.
