Job summary

J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. is seeking a Tractor Technician to perform basic maintenance, service, and repair of tractors and other equipment under close supervision.

The role requires readiness for outdoor work and multiple shifts, including nights and weekends, with overtime potential. This full-time position includes benefits and a path for advancement through the Technician Career Advancement program.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age with 1 year of Semi-Tractor maintenance and repair experience or equivalent military/training.
• Willingness to work outdoors, in the elements, or across multiple shifts including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate foundational technical knowledge of preventative maintenance, replacement of parts/components, and basic repairs for tractors.
• Work independently and seek assistance as needed.
• Follow shop safety procedures.
• Maintain professional communication with JB Hunt personnel and customers.
• Accurately perform basic repairs to company and manufacturer's specifications and complete work orders.
