Job summary

DC Army National Guard seeks a Track Vehicle Repairer to maintain track vehicles, including fuel and electrical systems, and supervise related repair activities. You will work on motorized track vehicle components and gain hands-on mechanical experience.

Training is provided with compensation: 10 weeks Basic Training and 13 weeks Advanced Individual Training, plus ongoing benefits and the potential for civilian career paths after service.

Qualifications

• Must enlist in the Army National Guard.
• Age 17–35.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Able to pass physical exam and meet standards.

Responsibilities

• Repair diesel power plants/packs, fuel systems, and air induction systems.
• Fix vehicle air cooling systems, liquid cooling systems, track hull electrical systems, and automatic transmissions.
• Service cross drive transmission assemblies, transfer assemblies, and hydraulic brakes.
