DC Army National Guard is seeking a Light-Wheel Vehicle Mechanic to supervise and perform maintenance and recovery operations on wheeled vehicles in the field and shop. You will inspect, service, repair, test, and replace components, including electrical systems such as wiring harnesses and charging systems.

Qualifications

• Enlistment in Army National Guard is required.
• Must be at least a junior in high school or have a high school diploma or GED.
• Ages 17–35 years old.
• Must pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards.
• Citizenship requirements per NATIONALGUARD.com are applicable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain wheeled vehicles, associated trailers, and material handling equipment systems.
