Job summary

The DC Army National Guard seeks a Construction Vehicle Repairer to maintain heavy equipment such as trucks, bulldozers, power shovels, and other critical construction machinery. You will service engines, brakes, hydraulics, and related components while training and earning a regular paycheck.

Training includes 10 weeks of Basic Training and 8 weeks of Advanced Individual Training, with opportunities for tuition assistance and other benefits upon completion.

Qualifications

• Military enlistment in the Army National Guard.
• Must be between the ages of 17 and 35.
• Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards.

Responsibilities

• Service drive shafts, universal joints, service brake shoes, water pumps, and turbochargers.
• Maintain and replace cylinder heads, high-pressure fuel injection pumps, and road wheels
