Job summary

DC Army National Guard is seeking a Track Vehicle Repairer to perform maintenance on track vehicles and supervise repairs to fuel and electrical systems. You will work on engine, fuel, and powerplant components and gain hands-on mechanical experience during training.

Through Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training, you’ll develop skills for civilian garage work in carburetor, transmission, radiator, and construction equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• Interest in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical problems.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to military training.

Responsibilities

• Repair diesel power plants/packs, fuel systems, and air induction systems.
• Fix track vehicle air cooling systems and hydraulic/ electrical components.
• Service cross drive transmissions and related assemblies.
