Job summary

The DC Army National Guard seeks a Construction Vehicle Repairer to maintain trucks, bulldozers, shovels, and other heavy equipment used in construction operations. You will service engines, brakes, hydraulics, and fuel systems, and follow maintenance schedules.

You can gain civilian career-ready skills, earn while you train, and qualify for tuition assistance during Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training. This position offers paid training and a path to state and federal benefits.

Qualifications

• Military enlistment in the Army National Guard.
• Must be between 17 and 35 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must pass a physical exam and meet standards of conduct.

Responsibilities

• Service drive shafts, universal joints, service brake shoes, water pumps, and turbochargers.
• Maintain and replace cylinder heads, high-pressure fuel injection pumps, and road wheels.
