Genesee & Wyoming Inc. in the United States is seeking a Track Foreman to lead the MoW crew, oversee daily track maintenance, and ensure safety and reliability across rail operations. You will plan, supervise, and execute maintenance tasks, coordinating with teams and prioritizing safety.

The role requires strong leadership, problem solving, and teamwork in a dynamic railroad environment. Located near North Carolina with potential 25% travel to NC/VA; full-time schedule with comprehensive

Qualifications

• 2+ years MoW/Track experience with 1 year as Foreman or Lead.
• Ability to complete written forms and reports.
• Experience with torches, hammers, jacks and other tools is a plus.
• Strong safety awareness and compliance with GCOR.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage MoW crews in maintenance and repair projects.
• Coordinate with other teams to ensure efficient railroad operations.
• Enforce safety procedures and maintain compliance records.
• Monitor maintenance costs to stay within budget.
• Support department goals for track, signals, and projects.
