Genesee & Wyoming Inc. seeks a Foreman for the Maintenance‑of‑Way (MoW) to lead daily crews, plan maintenance, and ensure safety and reliability of track infrastructure. You will oversee hands‑on work while coordinating with other teams to keep operations efficient.

The role requires leadership, strong safety awareness, and teamwork in a dynamic environment. This on-site position offers growth opportunities within a long‑standing railroad organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• CDL is a plus or willingness to obtain if required.
• RWP and EIC certification is a plus.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage MoW crews in maintenance and repair projects.
• Coordinate with other teams to ensure organized and efficient railroad operations.
• Enforce safety procedures and maintain accurate compliance records.
• Monitor and support all maintenance costs to stay within budget.
• Support the MoW department in meeting its track, signal, and capital-project service goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
