Job summary

Genesee & Wyoming Inc. is seeking a Track Foreman with prior Railroad MoW experience to lead maintenance crews and ensure safe, reliable track infrastructure. You will manage daily activities, coordinate with teams, and uphold safety and budget goals in a demanding environment.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in MoW/Track, at least 1 year in a foreman or lead role, and strong communication skills. This full-time position involves varied shifts, travel up to 25%, and outdoor work in all weather.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years MoW/Track experience, with 1 year as Foreman or Lead.
• Proficiency in completing written forms and reports.
• Experience with tools like torches, hammers, jacks and other mechanical/hydraulic/pneumatic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage MoW crews in maintenance and repair projects.
• Coordinate with other teams for organized railroad operations.
• Enforce safety procedures and maintain compliance records.
• Monitor costs to stay within budget.
• Support MoW in meeting track, signal, and capital-project goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
