Genesee & Wyoming Inc. is seeking a Foreman for Maintenance-of-Way leadership. You will oversee daily MoW crew activities, ensuring track infrastructure safety and reliability, while planning and solving issues to keep rail operations running smoothly.

The role emphasizes leadership, safety, and teamwork in a dynamic environment with 100% travel and shift flexibility. Prior outdoor work and supervision experience are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage Maintenance-of-Way crews in maintenance and repair projects, including hands-on work.
• Coordinate with other teams to ensure organized and efficient railroad operations.
• Enforce safety procedures and maintain accurate compliance records.
• Monitor and manage maintenance costs to stay within budget.
• Support MoW department in meeting track, signal, and capital-project goals.
