Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company seeks a manufacturing leader to drive TPS/MDI practices, improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost, and build an engaged, high-morale team. You will coach staff, align resources, and lead continuous improvement efforts across functions.

The role emphasizes leaning processes, daily management, and developing others through training and cross-training initiatives. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in a business, technical, or relevant field or the equivalent in experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure required resources (staff, equipment, methods, information, materials) are present to produce output.
• Create a level-loaded, mixed-model schedule based on customer demand.
• Collaborate with other functions to ensure successful order fulfillment and communicate progress.
• Establish a lean future-state vision and SQDC goals; take action to achieve them.
• Post and monitor SQDC measurements and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Eliminate production abnormalities with stop-gap measures and root-cause analysis.
• Drive standard operations and train team members in standard work.
• Lead projects and Kaizen teams to develop new/improved capabilities.
• Allocate daily schedule: 10% admin, 30% teaching, 10% audit, 10% order mgmt, 40% improvement.
