Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking an Operations Manager to lead daily production operations, focusing on Lean practices, safety, and cost optimization. You will partner with site leadership to drive continuous improvement and ensure customer needs are met efficiently.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in manufacturing, especially HVAC or industrial equipment, with strong Lean Six Sigma credentials and ERP proficiency to manage resources and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field required.
• MBA or related advanced degree preferred.
• Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt) preferred.
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in HVAC, metal fabrication/assembly, or industrial equipment production.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in manufacturing software and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations with a focus on safety, efficiency, and cost control.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety and environmental standards (OSHA compliance).
• Oversee production planning, scheduling, and KPI tracking to meet targets.
• Collaborate with engineering to align production with product specs.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve quality.
• Manage inventory levels and supply chain processes to prevent delays.
