Job summary

Indiana Automotive Fasteners, Inc. is seeking a department leader to drive SQDC performance and champion Toyota Production System (TPS) and Total Predictive Maintenance (TPM). You will mentor teammates, coordinate cross-training, and plan daily tasks to uphold on-time delivery and quality.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, Kaizen, and adherence to standard work. The position requires strong safety consciousness, teamwork, and the ability to take initiative across multiple duties,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; an Associate’s degree or technical training is a plus.
• Three-year related experience and/or training; 5–7 years preferred or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Lead the department with Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) in mind.
• Coordinate training for new team members and develop cross-training plans.
• Plan department work assignments and daily task allocations.
• Ensure 100% on-time delivery to customers by establishing priorities.
• Identify root causes of issues and implement Kaizen countermeasures.
• Act as interim leader during short-term absence and assist in staffing decisions.
