Job summary

Ascensus seeks a TPA Business Development Director to grow and deepen relationships with Third Party Administrators in the assigned territory. You will collaborate with local sales and operations to identify opportunities and position Ascensus as a preferred recordkeeper for TPA‑driven plans.

The role requires strong relationship-building, retirement plan ecosystem knowledge, and a willingness to travel 25–50% for conferences and client meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 5+ years in retirement plan industry with TPA/recordkeeping exposure.
• Proven relationship management or business development track record.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel 25–50% to conferences and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Partner with local sales to design territory strategy and target TPAs.
• Build and maintain trust-based relationships with TPAs and staff.
• Present value proposition to TPAs to win referrals and business.
• Represent Ascensus at national/regional conferences and events.
• Maintain CRM records and provide regular progress updates.
