Job summary

Ascensus is seeking a TPA Business Development Director to grow and deepen relationships with Third Party Administrators. You will collaborate with local sales and operations to identify opportunities, train reps, and present Ascensus as a premier TPA recordkeeper.

A strong retirement plan ecosystem background is essential. The role requires traveling 25–50% of the time, building strategic partnerships, and leading joint business planning with TPAs while maintaining CRM records and reporting to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in the retirement plan industry, ideally with exposure to TPAs, recordkeeping, or plan administration.
• FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 licenses required; ASPPA or NIPA designations a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with local sales reps to design territory strategy and target TPAs.
• Build and maintain trust-based relationships with TPAs and staff.
• Train sales reps to position Ascensus as a TPA-friendly recordkeeper.
• Represent the recordkeeper's value proposition to TPAs to win referrals.
