Job summary

Ascensus, a leading technology and service platform for savings plans, seeks a TPA Business Development Director to grow and deepen relationships with Third Party Administrators. You will partner with local sales, train teams, and present Ascensus as a trusted recordkeeper to TPAs, traveling 25–50% as needed to meet with partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in the retirement plan industry, ideally with exposure to TPAs, recordkeeping, or plan administration.
• FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 licenses required.
• ASPPA or NIPA professional designations a plus.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel 25–50% including overnight and multi-day trips.

Responsibilities

• Territory & relationship development: partner with local sales reps to design strategy and build relationships with TPAs.
• Joint business planning: establish joint marketing and sales goals with TPAs and track co-branded initiatives.
• Partner support: act as escalation point and advocate for TPAs, coordinating with internal teams.
• National & regional presence: represent Ascensus at conferences and support national programs.
• Collaboration & reporting: maintain CRM records and provide updates on territory progress and performance.
