Job summary

Ascensus is seeking a TPA Business Development Director to grow and deepen relationships with Third Party Administrators. You will design local territory strategy with the sales team, train reps, and present the Ascensus recordkeeper value proposition to TPAs.

The role requires 5+ years in retirement plans, FINRA Series 6/63, and willingness to travel 25–50%. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in the retirement plan industry
• FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 licenses are required
• Aspira or NIPA designations are a plus
• Strong understanding of TPAs, recordkeepers, and advisors in employer-sponsored retirement plans
• Willingness to travel 25–50% including overnight trips

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute local territory strategy with sales to target TPAs and drive growth.
• Build and maintain trust-based relationships with TPAs and sales partners.
• Train sales reps on Ascensus value proposition for TPAs.
• Represent Ascensus at national/regional conferences to build brand and partnerships.
• Coordinate with internal teams to address TPA needs and provide ongoing education on updates and tools.
• Maintain CRM records and report progress to sales leadership.
• Collaborate on joint marketing goals and programs with TPAs.
• Travel 25–50% to support in-person meetings and presentations.
