Job summary

Ritchie Bros. in Wisconsin Portage is seeking a Dispatcher to manage towing resources and keep pickups and deliveries on schedule, delivering reliable service to our partners. You will coordinate capacity, monitor performance, and collaborate with the IAA Transportation team to support branch growth and safe operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years customer service experience, 1+ years direct dispatch.

Responsibilities

• Direct activities related to towing operations and on-time performance goals.
• Manage tow truck resources and assign work efficiently to maximize productivity.
• Plan daily resource needs and coordinate with towers to align truck resources.
• Identify when demand exceeds capacity and refer to part-time networks for extra resources.
• Monitor transportation costs and identify opportunities for savings.
• Recruit new towers to expand towing networks.
• Provide documentation to drivers for pickups/deliveries, including checks/cash handling.
• Monitor work-in-progress and adjust to ensure timely performance.
• Escalate issues related to transportation activities to management.
• Build a relationship with IAA Transportation team.
• Maintain good relationships with tow drivers.
• Review reports on transportation activity and Time Performance metrics.
• Follow safety guidelines and company policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
