Job summary

Hinemans Complete Auto Service & Towing Inc. is seeking a Dispatcher to ensure efficient towing and roadside operations. You will manage the active dispatch board, coordinate drivers, communicate with customers, and ensure calls are documented, closed, and invoiced.

The role requires sound decision-making, organization under pressure, and ownership of problems through resolution. Position Type: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM, with some flexibility.

• Ability to prioritize competing demands, solve problems, and make sound decisions independently.
• Comfortable using computers, phones, tablets, and multiple software systems efficiently.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-focused under pressure.
• Comfortable discussing service pricing and collecting payments.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls for towing and roadside assistance requests.
• Coordinate drivers and service calls on the dispatch board.
• Quote and book private towing and roadside services per pricing guidelines.
• Maintain proactive communication with customers on ETAs and delays.
• Dispatch and route drivers based on location, availability, and job requirements.
• Audit completed calls to ensure proper closure and invoicing.
• Enter and maintain call information in dispatch software.
• Follow up on missed calls to recover opportunities.
